Joe Flacco Becomes 81st Player with 150 Career Passing Touchdowns
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco threw the 149th and 150th touchdown passes of his career during Sunday's 37-33 loss to the Oakland Raiders, becoming just the 81st player with 150 or more passing touchdowns, per pro-football-reference.com.
No. 149 came in the final minute of the first quarter when Flacco found tight end Crockett Gillmore for a 16-yard score to tie the game at 10-10.
After Oakland retook the lead on a one-yard rushing touchdown by running back Latavius Murray on the next drive, Flacco and Gillmore connected for a second touchdown, finding the end zone from nine yards out to bring things even again at 17-17.

Flacco nearly added touchdown No. 151 late in the fourth quarter, but he overthrew wide receiver Steve Smith on what should have been an easy go-ahead touchdown on a 3rd-and-8 from the Oakland 14-yard line.
Forced to settle for a go-ahead field goal with just over two minutes remaining, the Ravens proceeded to allow a nine-play, 80-yard touchdown drive, capped off by a 12-yard touchdown pass from Raiders quarterback David Carr to Raiders wide receiver Seth Roberts with only 26 seconds remaining.
Down 37-33 with just a few plays to mount a last-ditch drive, Flacco threw a game-clinching interception to Raiders safety Neiko Thorpe on first down.
Despite the poor ending, Flacco turned in one of the better statistical performances of his career, with 384 passing yards representing his third-best total in 114 regular-season games, per pro-football-reference.com's play index.
