Samoa Joe Is Best Choice to Join Reigns and Ambrose at WWE Night of Champions
Samoa Joe is currently in NXT, awaiting his turn for the main roster of WWE. While he could perhaps be waiting for a while longer, the fact is that a prime spot is available right now, as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose have a mystery partner for Night of Champions.
Joe should be that partner.
At first glance, it seems as though moving Joe up right now might be too soon. The veteran star did just arrive in NXT barely four months ago, and he's yet to capture the top championship there. This contradicts what has been done in the past, as five of the seven NXT champions have moved on to the bright lights of Monday Night Raw.

Plus, the issue of whether or not he's fully over is up for debate.
He may have the support of the NXT audience, but put him live on Raw in front of a sold-out crowd every week, and it's anyone's guess what may happen. But maybe the answer is not a full-time debut right now, rather just a high-impact spot in which he could make a serious statement.
Night of Champions is the right avenue to make that statement.
Reigns and Ambrose need a third, and Joe is the best candidate for it. He would be partnering up with two guys who have a tremendous amount of spotlight and are heavily featured on WWE programming. He would be instantly thrust into the mainstream of WWE, and the world would be waiting on him to impress.
That's exactly what he would do.
The fact that he would be doing it against Bray Wyatt would just be an added bonus. Wyatt is a brawler, a talent that stays on the ground and fights his way through a wrestling match. What he does is not pretty, but it's very effective.
Joe would be a great matchup for him, because while Wyatt would be smiling and beating on him, Joe would be getting right back up and giving it back to him.
Luke Harper and new family member Braun Strowman will be there as well, and while they both would tower over Joe, that would not stop him from going full throttle to take them out. Joe's ability in the ring is matched only by his ferocity, and he would not back down from this fight.
Joe is a no-nonsense talent, and that means he would fit right in with Reigns and Ambrose. The three of them would be a force the likes of which has not been seen in WWE. Reigns as the muscle, Ambrose as the wild card and Joe as the bruiser would represent perhaps the toughest trio since the original Shield.
Ambrose and Reigns have been outnumbered for far too long, and they need an ally who will deliver the kind of intensity they're accustomed to; that's Samoa Joe.
The best part about a Samoa Joe addition to Night of Champions is just the surprise factor.
That moment would be huge for Joe and very important to WWE, as they would finally get a glimpse of just how vital he could be to the main roster. Of all the talent in NXT, Joe is perhaps more prepared than the rest to work on the main event stage right now.
He has the experience, he has the skill and all he needs is the opportunity.
Joe is 36 and his window for having a great run on the main roster is possibly becoming very narrow. If he is to make the jump and get over with fans, he needs to move now. Getting the rub from Reigns and Ambrose would be the ideal way to make it happen.
Night of Champions is a much bigger stage than NXT, and Joe is a much bigger star than he's being allowed to be. He's ready to move up in the company and whether NOC is a permanent or part-time main roster move, it's the best way to get him in front of the mainstream WWE crowd.
Ambrose and Reigns are ready to for war and Joe is the perfect soldier to join them.
