Gerard Pique Makes Bet with Fans, Could Have Lost €10M in Barca Shirts
Gerard Pique was clearly in playful mood on Sunday night—but it almost cost him big time!
The Barcelona defender spotted a surprising 2-2 trend in Serie A, with four straight games in Italy’s top flight all finishing with the same scoreline.
With two more matches to follow, Pique took to Twitter to offer anyone who retweeted his message a Barca shirt—providing both Lazio against Udinese and the Milan derby finished with the same scoreline.

As per Gazzetta World: "It is estimated that, given the cost of a Blaugrana jersey and the amount of people who entered his curious competition, it could have cost Pique over €10 million."
He’s not been put off, though, later tweeting he would “do it again soon” if there is another opportunity later in the season.
Gazzetta World translated the tweet as such: “What a pity Lazio-Udinese ended 2-0, but if there is another chance, I will do it again soon.”
For the record, Inter also spoiled the party with their 1-0 win over Milan at the San Siro.
