Johnny Manziel may not have expected to be playing in the second quarter of the Cleveland Browns' season opener against the New York Jets, but he was certainly ready when the opportunity presented itself.

Manziel entered the game after Josh McCown left the game with a concussion. On 3rd-and-19 from his own 46-yard line (on his first drive), Manziel connected with Travis Benjamin on a beautiful deep ball for a 54-yard touchdown.

It was the first touchdown pass of Manziel's career.

The touchdown gave the Browns a 7-0 lead over the Jets early in the second quarter.
