Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason faces an indefinite amount of time on the sidelines after injuring his knee on the way to scoring the winner at Sunderland on Sept. 13.

Mason Blow Keeps Midfielder Sidelined

The talented youngster was forced to miss Tottenham's home clash with Crystal Palace, as highlighted by pundit Stan Collymore.

Still there is no official timeline on when Mason is expected to return.

Certainly Mason's setback did not come without reward. His goal proved the only strike in a 1-0 win over Sunderland and was the player's fourth consecutive Premier League start under Pochettino.

In his absence, the north Londoners will learn more about the talents of Dele Alli and Erik Lamela, both of whom come into contention for a midfield slot.
