J.J. Watt-mania has reached such absurd levels, nothing is too ridiculous. Ask Houston Texans fans how they feel about the two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and you'll get answers. He's the greatest player of all time. He's the greatest athlete of all time. He's God.Β

Of course, it is mostly in jest, and who can blame Texans fans for loving one of the most dominant defensive linemen to ever play?

That leads us to this banner. Bleacher Report reached out to the creator, reddit user rock99rock. After giving us permission to use the image, he detailed his plan to hang it in all its glory off the railing of the first row in an unspecified away game this season. Keep an eye out.

It was important to rock99rock, who asked to be referred to as "Rock," that his intentions be made clear. This is not a statement about religion. It is purely a humorous homage to his favorite player:

I see it as satire, and plays on the fact that everyone puts JJ on a pedestal...I travel with a group of friends and sit front row for 1 road game each year and meet up with the Traveling Texans, and I hope to hang this off the railing.

Last year we just hung the state flag of Texas and a Texans flag in Cleveland, and nothing in Jacksonville the year before. This year I wanted to try something a little different. Hopefully everyone takes it for what it is, just good humor not meaning to offend anyone.

The image and the quote on the banner come from the highest-rated post of all time on the Texans' subreddit page, and the text used was taken from the top comment.
