The Top-Selling Offensive NFL Jerseys to Start the Season

Matt KingSep 12, 2015

The NFL season is finally here. Rejoice all ye who worship the pigskin.

NFL jersey season, however, is year-round. There's no better way to show support for the team and the players you love than to proudly drape their number on your back. And NFL fans are all about that.

But who are the undisputed kings of NFL jersey sales? Let's break down the top offensive players at the start of the season.

Let us know your favorites in the comments!

No. 10: Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans

1 of 10

The lone rookie to grace this list, Marcus Mariota beat out No. 1 draft pick Jameis Winston. He's clearly the more popular player, but time will tell whether he's the more successful one.

No. 9: Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers

2 of 10

In Pittsburgh, fans love a good underdog. Antonio Brown, the 195th pick in his draft, has fought and clawed his way to becoming one of the league's top wideouts.

Brown showed it Thursday night, with 133 yards and a TD, against the New England Patriots. That extended his streak of at least five catches and 50 yards to 34 games (including the playoffs). The next-closest player has just 19 games.

No. 8: Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots

3 of 10

Who doesn't want a Gronk jersey?

The biggest personality in football is also one of the biggest talents. Rob Gronkowski is basically unstoppable these days. He absolutely destroyed the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night, with three TDs and 94 yards on just five catches.

No. 7: Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys

4 of 10

Fans in Dallas may go back and forth on how much they love Tony Romo, but they are 100 percent all in on Dez Bryant.

Bryant is the future of the franchise and just got paid like it, too. You can't go five minutes talking to Cowboys fans without them telling you, "Dez caught it."

No. 6: Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

5 of 10

Russell Wilson is about the safest bet out there as far as a guy to root for. The squeaky clean QB is about a nice of a guy as they come and just happens to also have a Super Bowl ring.

The Seahawks are going to be competing for a long time, thanks to Russell. It makes sense for fans to get on board with his jersey.

No. 5: Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

6 of 10

Good ol' Peyton Manning. He's been a mainstay on lists like this just about his entire career. Even at 39 he continues to put up big numbers and thrill fans.

Manning has been with the Broncos for just three seasons in his 16-season career, but he's already beloved in Denver.

No. 4: DeMarco Murray, Philadelphia Eagles

7 of 10

It really didn't take Eagles fans long to get past LeSean McCoy with DeMarco Murray coming on board soon after. Murray just had a career year in Dallas and seems to be the kind of player who can wreck people in Chip Kelly's system.

Fans know Murray is about to have a big year, so they're prepared for it.

No. 3: Tom Brady, New England Patriots

8 of 10

At this point, I'd be surprised if there was a man, woman or child in Boston who didn't have some kind of Tom Brady jersey.

Brady was already a legend, but the way the city rallied around him during the whole Deflategate scandal was inspiring. If Twitter avatars are any indication, Brady jerseys are literally everywhere.

No. 2: Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

9 of 10

The heir apparent to Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck has already surpassed him in at least one way: jersey sales.

Luck took his Colts to the AFC Championship last year, and the team looks even better this year. Fans want a Super Bowl, and they feel pretty good about the guy trying to lead them there.

No. 1: Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants

10 of 10

If you're looking for a cool jersey that is going to get you noticed, look no further than the man currently gracing the cover of Madden NFL 16.

A rookie last year, Odell Beckham Jr. lit up the league in the 12 games he appeared in and looks like the future of the league. His acrobatic catches make him not only a talented receiver, but also probably the league's most fun player to watch.

Now we wait and see if he can stay on top.
