Manchester United Transfer News: Ander Herrera Approach Reported, Fresh Rumours

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera was reportedly the subject of a deadline-day approach from Valencia, and Los Che still have designs on luring the Spaniard away from Old Trafford in January.

According to Fichajes.net (h/t the Daily Star's Jamie Anderson), Valencia may succeed in their pursuit of Herrera due to his "difficulties in adapting to Premier League football."

While the 26-year-old Spaniard has often seemed to struggle in his attempts to impress manager Louis van Gaal—often not earning a starting spot—his stats suggest he has adapted to English football with ease, per the Guardian's Daniel Harris:
