Triple H Must Set Up WrestleMania Match vs. Seth Rollins at Night of Champions
Triple H’s fingerprints will be all over the conclusion of WWE Night of Champions 2015.
The WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Sting is the main event of the pay-per-view, but the biggest storyline being furthered that night will be the eventual Triple H-Rollins match at WrestleMania 32.
Sting is a bona fide legend and one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but he is simply a pawn in a much bigger game right now.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The former face of WCW has a long history with Triple H and had issues with Rollins at Survivor Series 2014. With the storyline of tension between Rollins and The Authority brewing for months, it’s a reasonable storytelling device to have Sting use mind games to further drive a wedge between Triple H and his protege.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have done everything in their power to help Rollins thus far but have shown signs of disappointment.
The champion may have successfully retained the title on several different occasions, but he has been a weaselly titleholder and turned his back on The Authority many times. It has been a long time in the making, and the teacher battling his student is a time-honored story that would fit perfectly with Triple H and Rollins.
Stepping into the ring with Sting during his limited matches in WWE will be a huge rub for a young star such as Rollins.
However, the fact that the current champion has the in-ring skill and storytelling ability to get a great match out of the 56-year-old icon will force even the biggest Rollins haters to take a step back and re-evaluate their stance.
All the storyline moments leading up to Night of Champions will be cast aside, though, as the potential ending of the PPV could shake WWE to its core and lay the groundwork for one of the key matches leading into WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.
At Night of Champions, Sting and Rollins will undoubtedly tell a great story in the ring that culminates in an unforgettable moment. After Rollins puts the match on his back and lets his athleticism be the shining highlight of the bout, Sting should get the ultimate prize and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Hell will not have frozen over, but Mr. WCW winning the WWE world title would be iconic.
In true WWE fashion, though, the company would only give Sting a taste of the mountaintop, as a Sheamus cash-in attempt wouldn’t be far behind.
After Rollins fails to keep the title away from The Icon, The Authority will turn to its Plan B, The Celtic Warrior. In one fell swoop, Triple H and Stephanie would take control of the WWE’s highest prize, embarrass Sting once again and abandon Rollins in favor of a new golden boy.
One problem in these situations is the possibility of the WWE Universe not accepting the newly face Superstar as one of its favorites, but this is Rollins we're talking about here.
The fans already love his in-ring skill and have seen him improve by leaps and bounds on the mic. As a face, his high-flying moves would be instantly accepted by the masses and his personality would make him a likable character. Having The Authority turn on him, take his title and leave him to fend for himself would build sympathy, and Rollins’ path to revenge would help him build support.
Rollins should ultimately get that revenge at WrestleMania 32.
With the possibility of having Triple H vs. Rollins be a theme moving forward from Night of Champions, there could easily be a Survivor Series match in store for this feud, and Rollins' chances of winning the Royal Rumble could be ruined by one of The Authority’s goons such as Kane.
Eventually, Rollins would go through all of the obstacles put in front of him by Triple H and Stephanie and get his match against The Game.
With the WWE Universe firmly invested in the storyline after watching it develop for months, this would be a marquee WrestleMania match that would put over Rollins in huge fashion if he pulled off the victory.
Despite his instinct to bury, Triple H would do the right thing and put Rollins over cleanly.
There are few wrestling fans who can honestly admit they aren’t at least intrigued by the battle between Sting and Rollins at Night of Champions. With a huge difference in age, different skill sets and polar-opposite characters, this is a dream matchup no one knew they wanted.
Now, Triple H needs to do what he does best and interject himself into the outcome of the Night of Champions main event. By the end of the PPV, it will be clear Rollins and The Game will be going head-to-head at WrestleMania 32.
