Roman Martinez and Orlando Salido battled to a savage and unpopular split draw in the co-featured bout on the Floyd Mayweather vs. Andre Berto undercard.

Scores were 115-113 for Martinez, 115-113 for Salido and 114-114.

Martinez (29-2-3, 17 KO) retained his WBC Super Featherweight Championship, but it was Salido (42-13-3, 29 KO) who appeared to do more than enough to earn the victory and a fifth world championship.

The Mexican veteran both threw and landed significantly more punches than the Puerto Rican champion and dictated the pace of the fight with a pressure attack built around vicious body punching.

Both fighters indicated they were interested in a third fight in post-fight comments.

In undercard action, Badou Jack retained his WBC Super Middleweight Championship with an entertaining split-decision win over George Groves.

Scores were 114-113 for Groves and 116-111 and 115-112 for Jack, who dropped his challenger in the opening round and took over down the stretch to win a close fight.

Jack improves to 20-1-1 with 12 knockouts, while Groves drops his third world title challenge and falls to 21-3 with 16 knockouts.

In the opening contest, Jonathan Oquendo scored the biggest win of his career, taking a majority decision from former multi-time world champion Jhonny Gonzalez.

Scores were 94-94 and 95-93 and 98-90 in favor of Oquendo, who improves to 26-4 with 16 knockouts.

Gonzalez drops to 58-10 with 49 knockouts and will have to go back to the drawing board after back-to-back losses.
