Sometimes there just isn't enough ponytail to grip at after a horrific blunder. This is one of those instances.
Defender Helen Eke endured a nightmarish series of events, unfortunately directly in front of her own goal.
During Swedish club Hammarby's match against Orebro, Eke's goalkeeper's attempted clearance hit off an Orebro attacker and drifted back relatively harmlessly toward goal.
Eke tracked back under minimal pressure and attempted to boot the ball out of danger. Unfortunately, it went directly into her own goal, and rather emphatically at that.
Orebro lost the match 3-1 as Eke was substituted off after just 30 minutes. Things can only go up from here!
