Jose Enrique Deletes Twitter and Instagram Accounts, Vows to Focus on Football
Jose Enrique was expected by many to move away from Liverpool in pursuit of first-team football on deadline day, but instead, he has stayed at Anfield and shut down his social accounts, vowing to concentrate on football.
Enrique has been marginalised by new signings over the last few seasons, and his social media accounts have become something of an in-joke amongst fans, as the Spaniard often uploads pictures of himself away from Liverpool on holiday.
It appears, though, that the 29-year-old has taken on the criticism, writing: "I thought it was good to share with the fans pictures but I think they been killing me for that. Ok chao [sic] Instagram and Twitter."

Liverpool blog Empire of the Kop summed it up:
"At least he’s learned his lesson, as we’re not sure we could have coped with watching another video of Enrique playing table-tennis, Mario Kart or "accidentally" tensing his muscles.
"
It may not be how Reds fans pictured Enrique's next move, but if it ends up with the defender rediscovering form and being a player Liverpool can use, nobody will mind.
