Real Madrid Promised to Pay David De Gea โ‚ฌ10 Million If They Didn't Sign Him

David De Gea may be heartbroken that his desired move to Real Madrid collapsed under head-scratching circumstances, but at least he may get a minor consolation prize for staying at Manchester United.ย 

Justย โ‚ฌ10 million, according to AS.ย 

The Madrid-based newspaper claims that Real Madrid promised the Manchester United goalkeeper โ‚ฌ10 million if they failed to complete hisย transfer to the Spanish capital.ย 

It would hardly be an unprecedented promise in Florentino Perez's world: He once promised to pay the membership fees of 83,967 Real Madrid members if he failed to sign Luis Figo.ย
