West Ham United announced the signing of Chelsea winger Victor Moses on Tuesday. The Nigeria international has completed a season-long loan move across London.

Pedro's arrival at Chelsea signalled the end of Moses' immediate Blues career, but he once again has the opportunity to impress in the Premier League after spending previous loan spells at Liverpool and Stoke City.

Moses impressed as a youngster at Wigan Athletic and enjoyed a solid start to his Chelsea career, racking up 10 goals and five assists in his debut season with the Blues.

However, the 24-year-old appears not to have convinced Jose Mourinho;ย his only appearance for the Blues since the Portuguese manager's arrival was his eight-minute stint in the Community Shield this season.

The prospect of facing him on one flank and Dimitri Payet on the other will stretch opposition defences, so Moses should be a useful acquisition for the Hammers.
