There’s no denying the France under-21 international has quality. Coman has featured on a plethora of occasions for the Juventus first team, mainly from the substitutes' bench. The teenager is quick, skilful and has an in-game intelligence that belies his tender years.
However, there are areas of his game that still need refining. Admittedly, as is the case with the majority of young wingers, his final ball does need work, as does his ability to make split-second decisions in vital moments.
As such, Bleacher Report’s Juventus correspondent Adam Digby thinks Coman could either be a major hit or an equally significant flop:
The worry for Coman is whether he’ll get the requisite minutes needed to develop at Bayern. Manager Pep Guardiola has plenty of attacking talent at his disposal, especially in the positions behind the striker. Therefore, it’ll be intriguing to see where the teenager fits in alongside the likes of Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, Mario Gotze and Douglas Costa.

But there’s no denying he has great potential, and Guardiola will be hopeful of moulding Coman’s malleable talent to enable the winger to become much more refined. Do that, and there’s every chance the German champions could have a world-class player on their hands.
