Seattle Seahawks vs. San Diego Chargers Preseason Week 2 Odds, Betting Stats
Week 3 of the NFL preseason is typically known as the final dress rehearsal before the regular season kicks off, so the odds most closely resemble what bettors will see for matchups after the exhibition schedule has been completed.
On Saturday, the unbeaten San Diego Chargers host the Seattle Seahawks—visitors who are as road favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark despite going winless through the first two games.
The defending NFC champion Seahawks are expected to have their top three cornerbacks available for the first time this preseason, as All-Pro Richard Sherman will reportedly make his debut after recovering from a hip injury that limited him in a 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Seattle has lost its first two games by a combined three points, with the latest setback coming against the Kansas City Chiefs on the road last Friday by a score of 14-13. Starting quarterback Russell Wilson completed nine of 15 pass attempts for 78 yards before rookie reserve R.J. Archer took over.
The Chargers are one of three AFC West teams that are 2-0 so far, and they are also 2-0 against the spread thanks to wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals.
San Diego got a 42-yard field goal from rookie kicker Josh Lambo as time expired to beat Arizona on the road 22-19 last Saturday with newly re-signed quarterback Philip Rivers and prized first-round draft pick Melvin Gordon both sitting out.
Gordon is nursing an ankle injury but is expected to see some action against the Seahawks, while Rivers should play in the first half after inking a new four-year deal worth more than $80 million.
These teams have met just once since 2010, with the Chargers earning a 30-21 victory in Week 2 of last season and covering the spread as 4.5-point home underdogs. Before that game, Seattle had won six of the previous seven meetings and gone 5-1-1 against the number, according to the Odds Shark NFL Database.
The past five meetings have been high-scoring affairs as well, with the over going 4-1 for totals bettors and the winner averaging nearly 27 points per game.
The total posted for this Seahawks-Chargers betting matchup will likely close lower than any of the last four meetings, although none of those games was played in the preseason.
