Adnan Januzaj to Borussia Dortmund: Latest Loan Details, Reaction and More

Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj has moved to Borussia Dortmund on a season-long loan deal.

The move was confirmed by the player via his Twitter account:

Januzaj has made two appearances for the Red Devils this season, but he will likely enjoy more first-team minutes with Dortmund than he would have with United, as he no longer has to compete with Memphis Depay, Ashley Young or Antonio Valencia.

The switch will allow the Belgian to continue his development away from the spotlight at Old Trafford, which could see him flourish in an extended run of appearances.

Januzaj is versatile in his ability to add width to the team or feature centrally in attacking midfield, where he played and scored from in United's win over Aston Villa.

The loan is a strong move for all three parties, as United no longer have to worry about accommodating the youngster while Dortmund have acquired a promising young player hungry to prove himself to his parent club.
