Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left a cryptic message on Twitter, suggesting he could be eyeing a return to his boyhood club, Malmo.

"One day I hope to experience the Champions League in Malmo on the pitch," tweeted Ibrahimovic as he congratulated the club on beating Celtic to qualify for the Champions League.

The Swedish striker was born in Malmo and progressed through the club's academy before leaving for Ajax in 2001.

Whether he hopes to return to his hometown as a Malmo player or with a visiting team is unclear, but it's enough to get Malmo fans excited about the prospect of a Zlatan comeback nonetheless.
