
Ric Flair Confronts Jon Stewart for Interfering at John Cena's SummerSlam Match
Those WWE fans looking for an explanation from Jon Stewart for his actions at SummerSlam got just that Monday night on Raw. The former Daily Show host argued he was simply preserving Ric Flair's record for most title reigns and didn't want to see John Cena tie the mark.

That brought out Flair and Cena as a result, and Stewart quickly realized he had dug himself into quite a hole. At least he retained his sense of humor, according to the WWE Universe:
Cena wasn't laughing, however, and he delivered an Attitude Adjustment to the man who cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday night.

The segment provided a nice coda to the whole SummerSlam screwjob. Whether you agree with Stewart's decision or not, at least he had a solid motivation for hitting Cena with a steel chair and helping Seth Rollins retain his title.
Unfortunately for Stewart, he merely prolonged what is likely inevitable. With Cena so close to at least tying Flair, you have to expect he'll get his 16th world title reign before long.
