LaMichael James, Damien Williams Post-Preseason Week 2 Fantasy Advice
It's a pretty safe assumption that Lamar Miller is going to be the No. 1 running back for the Miami Dolphins, but there are a couple other rushers on that roster who could receive some fantasy consideration.
LaMichael James and Damien Williams continue to compete for touches during the preseason, including in Saturday night's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Here's a look at how they did.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
| LaMichael James | 6 | 45 | 7.5 | 22 | 0 | 1 | 3 | 0 |
| Damien Williams | 4 | 14 | 3.5 | 8 | 1 | 1 | 11 | 1 |
If you are looking at drafting either of these players, you're playing in a big league and looking for quality depth.
Miller is going to be the leading man in Miami, projected by ESPN to record 183.4 points in 2015 with 1,125 yards rushing and six touchdowns.
For the other two backs beneath Miller, ESPN is not being so generous with their projections. James is predicted to carry the ball just 12 times for 45 yards, gaining 7.0 points all season, while Williams is set to fare a bit better with 186 rushing yards and a touchdown for 34.9 points.
But James' performance on Saturday night was a positive sign for him, as he is playing for much more than your fantasy pick, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero:
While the possibility of success on kick and punt returns could earn you some big-time points, it's a very risky move to start a running back who is getting a majority of his touches with the special teams unit.
He has been giving Williams a fight for that backup position, however, according to Michelle Fenelon of the Sun Sentinel:
"James, a midseason acquisition last year after he was cut from San Francisco, mostly spent time on special teams in 2014. But he has run the ball well during training camp and showed well in pass protection, and he might have a slight edge over Williams.
"
With James showing athleticism and flashes of being a solid backup option, Williams spent Saturday night as a touchdown machine. On five touches, he recorded two touchdowns as he looks to have become a reliable option in the Miami offense.
Williams could develop into a red-zone extraordinaire with the Dolphins if he can cement his place behind Miller.
At this point, it will only seem reasonable to take whoever wins the job for backup running back. But that decision might not come until after your draft. It might be easier to hold off on spending a pick on either of these backs and picking them up after the depth chart has been officially established.
