New Colts Rumors on Keenan Allen, Josh Downs, Grover Stewart Trade Talks at 2026 NFL Deadline

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly fielding offers for multiple players ahead of Tuesday's upcoming NFL trade deadline.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, wide receivers Josh Downs and Keenan Allen, and defensive tackle Grover Stewart are among the Colts players generating interest.

The Colts have reportedly told interested teams that they have already received an offer of a fourth-round pick for Downs, although their initial asking price was a third-rounder.

Allen has reportedly also been "the subject of some inquiries," and is "another name to watch."

As for Stewart, he is also drawing interest, but the Colts are "aiming high with teams feeling like the price is more than they would give right now."

The 2-6 Colts have already traded guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the San Francisco 49ers, but they seem to be taking a more measured approach with their other trade chips.

That includes star running back Jonathan Taylor, who has been the subject of rumors, although Tom Pelissero of The Ringer reported Saturday that Taylor staying in Indianapolis is the "most likely outcome."

Downs, selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft out of North Carolina, set career highs with 72 receptions for 803 yards and five touchdowns in 2024, but his production has declined since then.

In eight games this season, he has caught 30 passes for 330 yards and one score.

Downs is a dynamic playmaker out of the slot when he is at his best, though, and contending teams in need of a slot receiver could potentially get a steal if he goes for a fourth-rounder.

Allen, 34, is a 14-year NFL veteran who is approaching the end of his career, although he remains a sure-handed and reliable option.

The six-time Pro Bowler has not topped 1,000 yards receiving in a season since 2023, but he had over 700 yards each of the past two seasons, and has made 36 catches for 325 yards and one touchdown so far this season.

Stewart, 33, is in the final year of his contract, and he has recorded 26 tackles, two tackles for loss and a half-sack in eight games this season.

More of a run-stopper than a pass-rusher with only 13.5 career sacks, the 6'4", 315-pound lineman could be a nice addition for a contending team that struggles to stop opposing rushing attacks.
