NFL Trade Deadline 2026 Date, End Time, Hottest Rumors, Predictions and More

Kristopher KnoxNov 8, 2026

The 2026 NFL trade deadline will arrive at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 10. While teams still have time to make moves, we've already seen a flood of activity on the trade market.

Big names like Quenton Nelson, DeForest Buckner, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Jeffery Simmons were traded well ahead of the deadline. On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals officially announced a trade that will send quarterback Jacoby Brissett to Baltimore.

While the trade activity may pause for Sunday's slate of games, we can expect more trades to come through the transaction wire before Tuesday's deadline. Which players and teams could dominate the upcoming news cycle? Let's dive into the latest buzz.

Titans Listening to Tony Pollard, Calvin Ridley Offers

The Simmons deal may have a massive impact on this year's playoff race, as the star defensive tackle immediately shined for the Chicago Bears last Monday. The Tennessee Titans may not be done making high-impact trades.

According to ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio, "multiple teams" are interested in Titans running back Tony Pollard, who has 665 scrimmage yards and six touchdowns this season.

Pollard is set to be a free agent in 2027. However, keeping him would make some sense for the Titans, who are still in the evaluation stage with second-year quarterback Cam Ward. That doesn't mean he's entirely off-limits, though.

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported on Friday that the Titans "have listened" to offers for Pollard and wide receiver Calvin Ridley.

Of the two players, Ridley should be viewed as the more expendable. Pollard has been an offensive centerpiece, especially recently. Ridley has dramatically fallen out of the offensive game plan after being a 1,000-yard receiver two years ago.

So far this season, Ridley has just six catches for 91 yards on 13 targets.

Prediction: Titans keep Pollard, trade Ridley for a late-round pick

Colts Want a 'Christian McCaffrey-Type Package' for Jonathan Taylor

The Indianapolis Colts will face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and they should have star running back Jonathan Taylor in the lineup. However, Taylor has been a popular trade target ahead of the deadline and could be moved by Tuesday.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport recently reported that "several teams" are interested in Taylor and are willing to offer significant compensation to get him. However, Rapoport also noted that the Colts don't really want to move their offensive centerpiece and want a "Christian McCaffrey-type package" in return for him.

The Carolina Panthers traded McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers in 2022 and received 2023 second-, third-, and fourth-round picks, along with a 2024 fifth-rounder.

As Rapoport noted, the Colts haven't received that sort of offer yet, or else Taylor would already be gone. However, Rapoport also reported on Good Morning Football earlier in the week that the Colts are "open" to trading Taylor (beginning around the 1:00 mark).

Indy has already fired general manager Chris Ballard and will likely be rebuilding with a new front office and quarterback in 2027. The prediction here is that the Colts ultimately decide to move Taylor in order to jump-start that rebuild.

Prediction: Taylor is traded at the deadline

Jets Don't Plan to Trade Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson

New York Jets receiver Garrett Wilson will miss Week 9 with a concussion, but running back Breece Hall is expected to return from his quad injury. Both players have been the topic of trade speculation in recent weeks.

Wilson hasn't been as productive in the Jets' passing attack, as fellow receivers Adonai Mitchell and Omar Cooper Jr. have started to take off. While Hall has been out, Braelon Allen has looked like the sort of starting-caliber back who could make Hall expendable.

However, one source told ESPN's Adam Schefter last week that there is "no way" that New York will move either player at the deadline. While that was before the Jets dropped their sixth game of the season, signs continue to point to them being non-sellers at the deadline.

"I would be surprised if the Jets moved running back Breece Hall or other major players based on conversations this week," ESPN's Jeremy Fowler wrote on Wednesday. "The Jets do not appear to be in the mode to deal talent."

New York appears to be preparing for a new quarterback to be added in 2027. If the Jets intend for him to be a plug-and-play starter, tearing down their talented young offensive cast wouldn't make much sense.

Prediction: Jets hang onto both Wilson and Hall

Eagles Open to Trading Veterans

The Titans and Colts may not be in full-on fire-sale mode after dealing notable veterans ahead of deadline week. The Philadelphia Eagles, however, may be open to moving multiple players.

The Eagles are stuck in what appears to be a lost season. Jalen Hurts is unlikely to return in 2026 as he continues to deal with blood clots. Offensive stars like Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith have not been healthy. At 2-6, Philadelphia is in the NFC East basement.

According to Breer, the Eagles have multiple veterans available:

"The Eagles' six-game losing streak obviously opens up the possibility that they'd move some contract-year vets, and Hollywood Brown, Riq Woolen, Dallas Goedert, Michael Carter II and now Tanner McKee are among those perceived by other teams to be available."

Eagles GM Howie Roseman has already traded center Cam Jurgens, and he probably won't stand pat between now and the deadline. According to Breer, though, he won't be trading defensive tackle Moro Ojomo.

Prediction: Philadelphia deals Marquise Brown and Riq Woolen before the deadline
