Micah Parsons Gives Honest Response to Playing at All-Pro Level for Packers in Injury Return
The Green Bay Packers have opened three-time First Team All-Pro edge-rusher Micah Parsons' 21-day practice window as he continues his comeback from a torn ACL and meniscus suffered last December against the Denver Broncos.
During a chat with reporters on Wednesday, Parsons admitted to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic that he may not be at his typical All-Pro level right away when he returns as he continues to get his conditioning and body back into playing shape.

That's understandable given that Parsons hasn't been on the field since Dec. 14, 2025. At that juncture, Parsons was enjoying an incredible 2025 season, amassing 12.5 sacks, 27 quarterback hits and 41 tackles in 14 games.
Despite missing the final three regular-season contests, Parsons earned First Team All-Pro honors and finished third in the Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year race.
Obviously, it's a great sign just to see Parsons out there.
The Packers have three weeks to activate Parsons to the roster. In theory, he could ramp up as best he can for the next few weeks and be ready for the team's Thanksgiving Eve game against the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, Nov. 25. Green Bay has a pair of games from now until then at the New England Patriots and home vs. the Minnesota Vikings.
We'll see what happens soon enough, but having Parsons out there even at less than 100 percent to start would still be a huge win for Green Bay.
He's played at an elite level for five seasons, racking up 65 sacks and 139 QB hits overall while finishing top-three in the DPOY race four times.
Getting back to that point may not happen right away, but that could certainly appear before the end of the season as the 5-3 Packers fight for the playoffs and NFC North title.
