Badenhausen reported Walter has at least seven parties interested in purchasing the Cadillac F1 team "an asking price of at least $3 billion."
Coleman reported Walter is "exploring selling a portion of his stake... but only at a certain price," and added the F1 team's valuation is "above $3 billion."
Cadillac entered F1 as the grid's 11th team this year after General Motors and TWG Global reportedly paid a $450 million expansion fee back in 2024, per the BBC's Andrew Benson.
Walter has control of the F1 team through his holding company TWG Global, which also owns stakes in IndyCar's Andretti Global, IMSA's Wayne Taylor Racing, Supercars' Walkinshaw Andretti United and Formula E's Andretti Global.
Coleman reported TWG Global's motorsports division as of now "is not seeking out buyers for its other properties."
TWG Global stated in August the company was "not considering exiting its stake in the Cadillac Formula 1 team or any other part of TWG Motorsports," but also said leadership would "consider all legitimate offers when they are received."
Walter still owns sports properties, including the MLB's Los Angeles Dodgers and the Professional Women's Hockey League.
He recently told the California Post'sย Jack Harris he plans to retain ownership of the Dodgers "no matter what." The PWHL has previously stated it is not expecting a change in ownership.
Walter is selling the Lakers at a reported valuation of $12.5 billion, per ESPN'sย Ramona Shelburne. He agreed to sell half of a combined 25 percent stake in Chelsea for a reported payout of around $650 million, per Ben Dummett and Margot Patrick of the Wall Street Journal.
