2026 NFL Trade Block Big Board Entering Week 9

Kristopher KnoxNov 4, 2026

For NFL teams hoping to add a marquee player or move off of veteran contracts, the clock is ticking. The 2026 trade deadline will arrive at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

Once the deadline passes, trades will be off the board until the offseason.

Teams have certainly not waited until the last minute to make moves this season. We've already seen notable players like Marvin Harrison Jr., Quenton Nelson, DeForest Buckner, and Jeffery Simmons change teams via the trade market. However, we could see a flood of activity over the final week.

As one unnamed source told NFL insider Jordan Schultz, "Get your popcorn ready."

Here, you'll find our updated and final list of top trade candidates, ranked according to factors like recent production, player upside, positional value, contract and cap implications, projected availability, and relevant recent trade buzz.

Since this is our final board before the deadline, we're expanding the list to our top 20 players, though we'll still provide trade values and potential suitors for those in the top 10.

Those projected trade values are based on factors such as position, player upside, player age, and any comparable deals.

Nos. 20-16

Dolphins LB Jordyn Brooks

20. Christian Barmore, DT, New England Patriots

New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore has a hefty four-year, $84 million contract that will take him off the board for some teams. However, he's a talented interior defender who "could be had," according to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer.

19. Donte Jackson, CB, Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers remain winless and could consider parting with cornerback Donte Jackson if he recovers from his lingering hamstring injury before next Tuesday. Jackson has appeared in only four games this season but appeared in all 17 last year while allowing an opposing passer rating of just 48.6 in coverage.

18. Rashod Bateman, WR, Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens receiver Rashod Bateman continues to slide out of the offensive game plan and has just 19 catches this season. With Lamar Jackson on injured reserve and Baltimore's season in jeopardy, the Ravens could decide it's time to trade Bateman.

17. Jermaine Johnson II, Edge, Tennessee Titans

Having already dealt Simmons, the one-win Tennessee Titans could consider parting with other players before Tuesday. Pass-rusher Jermaine Johnson II has three sacks this season and a ton of upside as a 2022 first-round pick. He's also set to be a free agent in the spring.

16. Jordyn Brooks, LB, Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are looking to build for the future with the NFL's youngest roster. While Jordyn Brooks is signed through 2029, he's also 29 and might not be a long-term fixture in Miami. He has 63 tackles already this season and would be a great addition to a contender in need of linebacker help.

Nos. 15-11

Dolphins edge Josh Uche

15. Josh Uche, Edge, Miami Dolphins

Edge-rusher Josh Uche is another defender the Dolphins could consider moving if they become deadline sellers. The 28-year-old has 29 tackles and two sacks this season but is also playing on a one-year contract.

14. Amani Hooker, S, Tennessee Titans

Safety Amani Hooker has been highly productive for the Titans in 2026. He leads the NFL with five interceptions and 114 interception-return yards. He's also allowed an opposing passer rating of just 60.2 in coverage. However, he also looms as a potential 2027 cap casualty.

Tennessee could cut him with a post-June 1 designation in the spring and save $10.3 million in cap space.

13. Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals recently moved former starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett to the QB3 role. With rookie Carson Beck set to back up Gardner Minshew, Brissett would be expendable. He'd be a top option for any team that needs a spot starter at quarterback.

12. Budda Baker, S, Arizona Cardinals

Longtime Cardinals safety Budda Baker has made it clear that he'd prefer to stay in Arizona. Yet, the eight-time Pro Bowler would be a premier target for teams in need of secondary help. The 30-year-old continues to be a do-it-all defender and has already logged 51 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and an interception this season.

11. Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans

Running back Tony Pollard has racked up 665 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns while serving as Tennessee's best offensive player. According to ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio, "multiple teams" are interested in adding Pollard before Tuesday.

10. Tuli Tuipulotu, Edge, Los Angeles Chargers

3 of 12
Eagles Chargers Football

Projected Trade Value: Conditional 2027 3rd-Round Pick

Los Angeles Chargers standout Tuli Tuipulotu would be a massive addition for any team in need of pass-rush help. He logged 13 sacks last season, has three sacks so far this year, and just turned 24 in September.

The USC product is also a fairly logical trade chip for the winless Chargers, as he is in the final year of his rookie deal and isn't guaranteed to stick around beyond this season. The issue is that, despite a 0-7 record, Los Angeles has been hesitant to sell.

On Monday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on The Aftermath (beginning at the 1:05 mark) that the Chargers have shown "no inclination" to trade Tuipulotu (h/t Jeremy Fowler of ESPN).

This doesn't mean Tuipulotu shouldn't draw interest from other teams. It simply means there's virtually no chance he can be had for anything close to a bargain offer.

Potential Suitors: Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns

9. Riq Woolen, CB, Philadelphia Eagles

4 of 12
Eagles Titans Football

Projected Trade Value: Conditional 2027 5th-Round Pick

The Philadelphia Eagles aren't necessarily in fire-sale mode, but general manager Howie Roseman potentially cracked the floodgates when he dealt center Cam Jurgens. Other teams are likely to come calling about some of Philly's better veterans.

Rapoport reported on Monday's episode of Good Morning Football (beginning around the 40-second mark) that, while Philly won't part with Saquon Barkley, players like cornerback Riq Woolen and guard Landon Dickerson are "the kinds of guys that the Eagles might look to sell."

Woolen played a notable role during the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl run last season, and he's been a valuable contributor for the Eagles in 2026. The 27-year-old hasn't been particularly efficient in coverage (112.8 passer rating allowed), but he has started all eight games for Philadelphia.

Having been a more effective cover man and a legitimate ball hawk early in his career, Woolen should be worth a flier to teams in need of secondary help.

Potential Suitors: Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers

8. Josh Sweat, Edge, Arizona Cardinals

5 of 12
Cardinals Cowboys Football

Projected Trade Value: Conditional 2027 4th-Round Pick

The Arizona Cardinals won their third game of the season on Sunday, thanks in large part to the efforts of quarterback Gardner Minshew. The Cardinals' former backup replaced Jacoby Brissett during the game and was recently installed as the new starter.

Assuming the Cardinals believe they can keep winning with Minshew, they probably won't be particularly interested in moving standout pass-rusher Josh Sweat. The 29-year-old has recorded three sacks, four tackles for loss, and nine quarterback pressures this season.

However, trading Sweat would save $10.9 million in cap space while potentially bringing the Cardinals a strong return.

"There is interest in Cardinals OLB Josh Sweat, per sources," ESPN's Adam Schefter posted on X on Sunday.

A strong offer could convince Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort to make a move.

Potential Suitors: Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers

7. Jadeveon Clowney, Edge, Houston Texans

6 of 12
Texans Titans Football

Projected Trade Value: 2027 5th-Round Pick

The Houston Texans have fallen well short of expectations this season and currently sit at 2-5. While they probably won't be interested in moving any centerpiece players, they might be willing to part with a player like Jadeveon Clowney, who signed a one-year, $5.5 million deal this offseason.

Moving Clowney would save Houston less than $1 million in cap space, but it could bring a reasonable return for a player who may not be with the team beyond this season.

According to Schefter, Clowney has drawn interest ahead of the trade deadline.

While Clowney will turn 34 in February, he remains an effective rotational defender. He has logged 1.5 sacks and two tackles for loss with the Texans this season, and he recorded 8.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss with the Dallas Cowboys last year.

Potential Suitors: Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys

6. Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

7 of 12
Jaguars Football

Projected Trade Value: 2027 2nd- and 5th-Round Picks

Mixed views continue to infiltrate the rumor mill regarding Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. The Jaguars have publicly stated that they plan to keep Thomas as part of their offensive game plan. However, not everyone around the league believes them.

"The Jacksonville Jaguars remain firm with teams that they won't deal WR Brian Thomas Jr.," The Athletic's Jonathan Jones wrote on Saturday. "'Yes they would,' one rival executive who doesn't need a wideout says."

While Thomas caught just one of two targets on Sunday, he did catch his second touchdown pass of the season. He has value to Jacksonville, even if he isn't poised to be the same playmaking Pro Bowler he was as a rookie in 2024.

Teams will and should continue to make offers for Thomas, given his status as an ancillary target for the Jags. However, it's clear that prying him away from Jacksonville will be costly.

Potential Suitors: New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers

5. Josh Downs, WR, Indianapolis Colts

8 of 12
Colts Jaguars Football

Projected Trade Value: 2027 5th-Round Pick

After trading Nelson and Buckner and then getting blown out for their sixth loss of the season on Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts may be on the verge of a fire sale.

Even if they're not, Josh Downs may be readily available for teams that need a receiver.

The 25-year-old pass-catcher officially requested a trade last week, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Considering he no longer wants to be in Indy, trading Downs would make sense for the Colts. He's in the final year of his rookie contract, and the odds of re-signing him in the offseason are probably slim.

Downs should also interest teams that lack receiver depth. He has three 500-yard seasons on his resume and has caught 30 passes for 330 yards and a touchdown so far this season.

Potential Suitors: Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers

4. Moro Ojomo, DT, Philadelphia Eagles

9 of 12
Cowboys Eagles Football

Projected Trade Value: 2027 3rd-Round Pick

Rapoport didn't specifically mention Moro Ojomo alongside Woolen and Dickerson as potential trade chips for the Eagles. However, the talented defensive tackle would be a very sensible option if the Eagles are looking to part out their roster.

The 25-year-old has appeared in all eight games this season with three starts and has compiled 21 total tackles and three tackles for loss. Ojomo also has 10 quarterback pressures this season after logging 21 pressures and six sacks in 2025.

Ojomo is also in a contract year. While he's exactly the sort of young interior defender that most teams would jump at the chance to extend, Philadelphia isn't most teams.

The Eagles have already invested heavily in defensive tackles Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis. Giving a third defensive tackle a top-of-the-market contract would be incredibly difficult.

Teams eyeing Ojomo as a 2027 free-agent target should consider moving to acquire him now.

Potential Suitors: Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars

3. Landon Dickerson, G, Philadelphia Eagles

10 of 12
Eagles Camp Football

Projected Trade Value: Conditional 2027 2nd-Round Pick

The Seahawks didn't exactly see the instant impact they had hoped to get from Quenton Nelson. However, that shouldn't discourage teams from making a strong run at Landon Dickerson if he can be had.

Great guards are a rare commodity in the NFL, and Dickerson has been one, when healthy, throughout his career. He has spent much of the year on injured reserve with a knee injury, but he has been back for two full games now.

He has played 100 percent of the offensive snaps in all three of his 2026 appearances.

A three-time Pro Bowler who is still only 28 years old, Dickerson would be a great addition for teams looking to solidify their interior for the long term. He's under contract through 2028 and carries a base salary of just $1.2 million.

Potential Suitors: Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers

2. Khalil Mack, Edge, Los Angeles Chargers

11 of 12
CHARGERS MACK

Projected Trade Value: Conditional 2027 4th-Round Pick

Despite their reluctance to move off of veterans at the deadline, the Chargers should listen to reasonable offers for future Hall of Famer Khalil Mack.

The nine-time Pro Bowler will turn 36 in February, and if he chooses to play next season, he'll likely opt to sign with a contender.

Based on what we've seen from L.A. this year, the Chargers probably won't be in the Super Bowl mix in 2027.

The Chargers can't expect to get much if Mack departs in free agency, either. Under the latest collective bargaining agreement, L.A. can receive no higher than a fifth-round compensatory pick because Mack has at least 10 accrued seasons.

Los Angeles could probably get more from a contender now. Mack has logged three sacks, five tackles for loss, and 11 QB pressures so far this season.

Potential Suitors: Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers

1. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts

12 of 12
Colts Jaguars Football

Projected Trade Value: Conditional 2027 2nd-Round Pick

Running back Jonathan Taylor has rocketed to the top spot on our list after Rapoport reported on Good Morning Football that the Colts are "open" to trading the talented running back (beginning around the 1:00 mark).

Indianapolis obviously won't let Taylor go for cheap. He just signed a contract extension that runs through 2028, and trading him would cost the Colts $7.6 million in dead money. It would also leave Indy without its biggest star as it heads toward what will likely be a full-on rebuild in 2027.

The Colts already fired GM Chris Ballard, and it's hard to imagine that Shane Steichen will last beyond the season.

Still, Taylor is almost unquestionably the top running back likely to be available. He's a high-volume runner and receiver who currently ranks seventh in the NFL with 812 scrimmage yards and tied for seventh with eight touchdowns.

Taylor is the sort of offensive difference-maker who could help turn a playoff contender into a top-tier Super Bowl threat.

Potential Suitors: Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants
