Retired NBA journeyman Andrei Kirilenko was nicknamed “AK-47” throughout his career for his initials and jersey number as well as his eccentric style of play.

During a recent visit to his birthplace, Izhevsk, Russia, the 34-year-old received a sweet model of an actual AK-47 from the head of Udmurtia, a federal subject of the country.
