Lamar Jackson is officially back.

The Baltimore Ravens quarterback, who hasn't played since Week 4, will be on the field for the Week 8 clash against Buffalo Bills.

That's a huge boost for fantasy football players who have spent the last few weeks piecing together their quarterback situations.

Elsewhere in the AFC, A.J. Brown is questionable to play in the New England Patriots' AFC East battle against the Miami Dolphins.

Below is a look at all of the significant injury news that will affect Week 8's fantasy football matchups.

Lamar Jackson Will Play Against Buffalo

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter confirmed on Friday that Lamar Jackson will return to the field on Sunday.

Jackson missed the last three weeks with an ankle injury. Baltimore went 1-2 in that stretch with Tyler Huntley at quarterback.

Jackson's return provides an immediate boost for Zay Flowers' fantasy football stock.

Rashod Bateman, Mark Andrews and the other Ravens pass-catchers are more intriguing waiver-wire options in Week 8 because of Jackson's presence.

The Ravens are going up against a Bills defense that conceded at least 340 yards in every one of its games. Two of Buffalo's last three opponents produced over 400 total yards.

The last two Ravens-Bills matchups produced 52 and 81 points. Another track meet could break out in Baltimore. That would be an ideal return for Jackson from a fantasy perspective.

He might not run as much as the ankle continues to heal, but the passing attack should achieve a good amount of success against the Bills.

A.J. Brown Listed As Questionable

A.J. Brown is questionable with ankle and knee ailments.

Brown missed the last two days of practice with his injuries.

That's not exactly a good sign for Brown's Sunday status. The Patriots will make a final decision this weekend on whether or not the veteran wide receiver will go in Miami.

Brown has been a disappointment so far in New England. He's had nine catches for 101 receiving yards in just three appearances.

Drake Maye's found a way to work around Brown's absences. He ranks eighth in the NFL in passing yards and he's tied for eighth in touchdown passes.

If Brown doesn't play, Hunter Henry and Demario Douglas should be the Patriots to target off the waiver wire.

Henry has 11 catches on 12 targets in the last two weeks. He's an ideal pickup at tight end with or without Brown.

Douglas would be New England's No. 1 wide receiver on Sunday without Brown. He'd be expected to break loose against a vulnerable Miami defense that let up over 240 passing yards in half of its games.

Washington's Stefon Diggs and Antonio Williams are among the potential waiver-wire pickups for Week 8, if Brown doesn't play. The Commanders face a Philadelphia defense that gives up the second-most receiving yards to wide outs.

Dallas' Ryan Flournoy is an intriguing option as well. He faces an Arizona secondary that's allowed 10 touchdowns to wide receivers.

Omar Cooper Jr. of the New York Jets and Jacksonville's Jakobi Meyers are other waiver-wire pickups to consider given the roles they have in their respective passing attacks.
