WWE Hall of Famer and head of creative Triple H acknowledged Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson's dramatic return to Lambeau Field in an ambulance during Thursday night's win over the Carolina Panthers.

During a postgame interview, Watson noted that he used to watch WWE when he was younger, and while making his return on Thursday, he said he felt like he was watching "SmackDown vs. Raw."

Triple H gave Watson props for his toughness, while also quipping that he needed to get "some entrance music."

While making a 53-yard catch during the second quarter, Watson hit the ground hard, and he had to come out of the game with what was being called a chest injury at the time.

Watson was transported by ambulance to a local hospital in order to undergo an X-ray and CT scan.

According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, Watson was coughing up blood at one point and was found to have a broken rib, but when he was cleared of any other issues, he wanted to return to the game.

Cameras captured Watson's return and walk down the tunnel, and once he made it back to the sidelines, he was the recipient of cheers from the crowd and support from his teammates.

Remarkably, Watson returned to the game a short time later and made two more catches during the second half, finishing the game with eight grabs for 113 yards.

Many times over the years, a WWE wrestler has been stretchered off or taken away in an ambulance during a match only to return, and Watson pulled it off during an NFL game on Thursday.
