Penta & Je'Von Evans Beat The Vision to Win World Tag Titles at WWE Crown Jewel as Oba Femi Returns

Penta and Je'Von Evans beat The Vision's Bron Breakker and Austin Theory at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday to win the World Tag Team Championships.

Bronson Reed interfered in an effort to help Breakker and Theory retain, but Oba Femi returned after several weeks away to even the odds:

With Reed taken out and Breakker distracted by Femi, Penta and Evans hit Theory with a Mexican Destroyer followed by an OG Cutter to win the titles:

Saturday's bout was a long time coming since Penta and Evans have been at odds with The Vision dating back to September.

After Evans won a Triple Threat match that included Theory to qualify for the men's Money in the Bank ladder match on the Sept. 14 episode of Raw, Evans faced Breakker in a singles match one week later.

The bout ended in a disqualification when Theory interfered and The Vision launched an attack against The Young OG.

Over the next two weeks, Evans and Penta teamed up successfully on two occasions, beating The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh, as well as Breakker and Theory in a non-title match.

Just days after Penta and Evans beat Breakker and Theory, three of them competed in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Penta won the bout, while Breakker tossed Evans from the top of a ladder and through the roof of an ambulance.

Despite the scary fall, Evans returned one week later on Raw and helped Penta beat Breakker in a singles match by foiling Theory's interference attempt.

On the Oct. 26 edition of Raw, The Vision brutally attacked Evans after he lost a WWE Championship match against Sami Zayn. Penta made the save, but he got beaten down at the hands of The Vision as well.

Penta and Evans then appealed to Raw general manager Adam Pearce for a World Tag Team Championship opportunity, and Pearce granted it.

Penta and Evans made The Vision pay for their recent attacks by winning their first tag team titles in WWE.
