Dodgers, Brewers Favored in World Series 2027 Bracket Odds, Where Every Team Stands

The 2026 World Series wrapped up on Wednesday night, as the Milwaukee Brewers took down the Tampa Bay Rays with a 4-1 victory in Game 5.

While the Brewers celebrated their first World Series title in franchise history, other teams started preparing to compete for a spot in the 2027 Fall Classic.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are early favorites to capture the Commissioner's Trophy next year, followed by Milwaukee.

The Brewers swept the Dodgers in the NLCS, although it isn't difficult to see why Los Angeles is still viewed as a top threat to win the World Series in 2027.

The Dodgers previously captured championships in 2024 and 2025 before injuries impacted them this year. Shohei Ohtani was hampered by health issues, which prevented the two-way star from pitching in the postseason.

While Los Angeles enters the offseason with plenty of questions, including the impending free agency of star pitcher Tarik Skubal, the club should remain a contender in 2027.

As for the Brewers, they capped off a dominant playoff run with Wednesday night's title victory.

Milwaukee went 11-2 in the postseason, never facing a series deficit at any point in October. The Brewers' offense was also impressive, as they racked up 116 hits in 13 games.

While Milwaukee currently celebrates a championship, the team will eventually begin the quest to defend its title.
