When the NBA schedule was released earlier this month, the Curry family wanted to know one thing.
When do the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings play each other?
Stephen Curry and the Warriors will begin to defend their title at home on Oct. 27. Less than two weeks later, on Nov. 7, the 2014-15 NBA MVP and the reigning champs will head to Sacramento to take on the Kings, who signed Seth Curry to a two-year deal this offseason.
Needless to say, that will be no ordinary regular-season game for the Curry family.
Steph went on The Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday and said it will be a dream come true to face his brother in an NBA game. And of course, the trash-talking has already begun.
Both brothers will have a little extra motivation to bring their A-games that night. Stephen made it known during his appearance that his parents don't want to see either of their sons taking it easy on the other; they want their boys to leave everything on the court—even if that means Steph breaking Seth's ankles or dropping 50 points on his brother.
Patrick also took a playful shot at Steph near the end of the interview, and the Golden State superstar took it in stride.
The Warriors and the Kings will play four times in the regular season, with all four meetings coming by Jan. 9. The teams' first meeting at Golden State will be on Nov. 28.
