The Little League World Series was forced to cancel its games Thursday due to inclement weather, per Little League on Twitter, pushing those contests back to Friday.
ESPN provided the updated schedule.
| Caribbean vs. Europe-Africa | 10 a.m. | ESPN |
| Southwest vs. Northwest | 11 a.m. | ESPN |
| Latin America vs. Australia | 1 p.m. | ESPN |
| Great Lakes vs. West | 2 p.m. | ESPN2 |
| Canada vs. Mexico | 4 p.m. | ESPN |
| New England vs. Southeast | 5 p.m. | ESPN |
| Japan vs. Asia-Pacific | 7 p.m. | ESPN |
| Midwest vs. Mid-Atlantic | 8 p.m. | ESPN |
Every game will also be streamed on WatchESPN.
While it is certainly disappointing that the opening day of action at the Little League World Series had to be canceled, the thought of eight games Friday will give the event a March Madness-like quality, with the frenzy and excitement of constant action throughout the day.
Friday's action should go off without any interruptions from Mother Nature as well, as forecasts call for mostly sunny skies with a few clouds in the afternoon and a 0 percent chance of precipitation, per Weather.com.
