Patriots' Mike Vrabel Reacts to Question About $250K Fine for Conduct Toward NFL Refs in New Video
New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel made a point to avoid drawing any further ire from the NFL league office in the wake of a six-figure fine for his conduct on the sideline.
The MMQB's Albert Breer reported on Oct. 21 that Vrabel was one of three coaches fined $250,000 "for conduct toward officials."
He declined to provide any further specifics Monday, telling reporters he's not allowed to comment. He went on to say that officiating a game is a difficult job and he appreciates when referees are at least transparent with their rationale on certain calls:

Ref Throws Flag on His Back 😭
Vrabel was more acerbic during his usual appearance on WEEI's The Greg Hill Show.
"I just tell them everything's a great call," he said when asked whether he has to coach differently after being fined (4:58 mark).
Vrabel was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct during New England's Week 4 win over the Buffalo Bills, which is presumably what drew the subsequent fine. After the game, he said he thought the ref who threw the flag "was a little sensitive."
It should come as little surprise that Vrabel's tone is a bit different after he's out $250,000.
