Monday Night Raw 9/14/09: Into The Stratusphere

Opens with a montage from Orton Cena last night. 

Batista opens the show is it already time for his announcement. strange tmz didn't show him with that arm brace this past weekend he was flexing his guns. Fans very receptive of the big man. "thank you to everyone " " I've comeback to say goodbye." fan's cheering Batista chanting his name. "rumors going around regarding retirement"

Orton comes out. Orton looks like one of the vampires from 30 days of night lately. 
Orton claims "I am not very happy about losing my title, But Batista's retirement cheers Randy Orton Up" 

Two things are funny to Batista "One, Orton is very predictable.Two, There is something i know that you don't know"

"I didnt come out to retire. I came out to say im going to smackdown." 
"and I talked to the guest host for tonight and I was given my final match on raw, a 'No Holds Barred' Match, against you, Orton!"

Hbk vs Dibiase announced for tonight as they cut to break.

Trish comes out with the dark hair. Her Yoga looks to be Paying off.
"She thinks she will make a pretty good host." "She knows Raw" "Orton vs Cena in Hell in a Cell at the next PPV" 

Kofi is coming out to the ring. Primo coming out as Kofis partner. Swagger coming out as an opponent along with  (kind of want it to be Danielson but its...) The Miz. Recap of Superstars before the match.

Miz Starts out against Primo. Miz intense from the start. Looking for the ref before he tags in Swagger. Swagger takes control of Primo right away. Primo being played as a weak link, Smart counter picking up the knees for Swagger's Vader Bomb. Primo tags. Kofi does his spinning roll up, almost like a Russian leg-sweep-type pin. Miz grabs the title distracting Kofi Swagger Hits the gut-wrench. One-Two-Three Swagger and Miz walk out with the victory.

Triple Threat Match for "#1 Contender's Match". Gail Kim vs Alicia  Fox. Error on Lillian's Behalf. Alicia an Gail are having a pretty good match Back and forth between the ladies. Northern lights by Alicia. grapevine with a half-nelson by Alicia. slams Gail's face to the mat. Body-slam. Misses the ax kick. Gail hits the Regal Cutter. Both divas being counted. Strong clothesline by Gail. Gail hits a cross body off the top for the two. Gail misses a front dropkick. Alicia hits the axe kick for the win.

Dx Shown watching Dibiase and Rhodes from the back monitors as raw cuts to break.

Back in the ring awaiting the arrival of Shawn Micheals. Copyright flashes showing we are entering hour two. Dibiase is furiously attacking in the corner. Ref cant keep Dibiase off him. HBK selling the injuries from Breaking Point. good scoop slam on Shawn by Dibiase. "You screwed Bret" Chants start and are fazed out. Suplex to Micheals from the apron to inside the ring. Headlock on HBK, Dibiase is bent on getting Shawn to tap again.

Back chop is returned by a dropkick to the mouth. Two count. Boot to the head. Two count. Headlock again. Micheals is up to his feet back chops to Dibiase. Dibiase is fighting the figure four. second attempt on the figure four and Rhodes disracts the ref as Dibiase digs his fingernails into HBK's Eyes. Shawn is acting Punch drunk. Wild punch brings Dibiase and Shawn to the mat. Micheals is fighting the Million Dollar Dream. Shawn breaks the hold by rolling Ted face first into th turnbuckle. Big Back body drop to the outside Dibiase is reeling on the floor. HHH Distracting now. Two atomic drops , flying forearm kip up Lou thesz Shawn goes to the top rope. Almost the Sloppiest Elbow ever off the top. Shawn selling the eye and wear and tear from last night. Going for Chin Music  and Rhodes trips Shawn. Hell Breaks loose as the ref Calls for the DQ. Legacy and Dx are brawling out in the audience. Pro camera man with Cloverfield style footage to accentuate the chaos. Commercial break camera is knocked down and goes to black.

Back from break Horny is coming out with Evan Bourne. Tag team match against Chavo and Carlito w/ Rosa Mendez. #SaveChavosCareer. I dont even want to  cover this match. Break time to play my facebook addictive games. will return once this match is over. grr.

Back from break John Cena the New WWE Champion. "Randy Orton gave away the championship at the first sign of Jeopardy."  I think this Hell in a Cell, May be the first Main event one without HHH or Undertaker. "I Promise that Randy Orton will be the Luckiest Man alive if he walks out of Hell in a Cell in one piece. Dx vs Legacy in Hell in a Cell is announced for the next PPV. 

Trish is coming out for her tag team match. Trish for the record, is the first Female Guest Host of Raw. MVP Is brought out as Trish' partner. Trish looks so tiny next to MVP. Break.
Back from commercial in time for Jericho and Beth's entrances.
Beth Looks like she may need to get tested for HGH. She is ginormous.
Trish and Beth to start. Beth Man Handling Trish. Trish with some Flair chops. Jericho shoves Trish off Beth. Big Show gets Dq'ed.  Trish changes to 6 person Inter-gender tag. to break."This is my ring My town and this match is not going to end like this tonight."

Back in the ring. Jericho is taking it to MVP after Big Show gets a tag. MvP with a roll up for two. Jericho prevents MvP from tagging. MVP with some words with Beth. Big show tripped up Trish and Mark hit a flying tackle on Show. Beth and Trish are legal. Stratusfaction for the three count. 

Batista Orton is next. 
Cedric the Entertainer is announced for Raw Next week as guest host.
Orton is out first for his No Holds Barred Match.
Orton immediately out for a chair. Batista Powers out of the second rope DDT.
Orton attacks Batista's injured arm and his head.
Orton back to the outside. Chair in hand Orton catches a spear. Orton is sent through the announce section drops Orton across the barrier. Orton is plowed into the stairs. Batista is stepping on Orton's head. sends Orton into the ring.

Weird suplex to counter the RKO. Orton Retreats the champs Music hits. Spine Buster and Batista Bomb for three. Batista leaves for team Blue in style with a V on his way out of Raw.

Overall i give this episode of Raw a B+ Not the best being at least 10 minutes I left my TV alone during Hornswaggle vs Chavo. 

Match of the night goes to Gail and Alicia i would have to say its a tough choice but that match was definitely my favorite of the night. 

Sadly No Santino this week hopefully superstars.
