Kyler Murray, 6-0 Vikings Are 'A First-Round Playoff Loser,' Says Rival NFL Coach

Despite being the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings reportedly haven't inspired much confidence around the league in their chances to contend for a Super Bowl title.

The Athletic's Mike Sando spoke to a veteran NFL coach who predicted that the Vikings will be one-and-done in the postseason.

"They are 6-0, but this is a first-round playoff loser," the coach said. "They have lived this life before. Aaron Jones got hurt today, too, so that is an issue."

The Vikings defeated the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 on Sunday to earn their sixth straight win. Minnesota had trailed for three quarters before veteran quarterback Kyler Murray threw the go-ahead touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

Despite the coach's pessimism, the Vikings lead the NFL with a +7 turnover differential, rank second with 252.8 yards allowed per game and are tied for first with 21 sacks. Their defense could be enough to carry them on a deep playoff run.

The Vikings will try to keep their win streak going when they face the Detroit Lions (4-2) in an NFC North matchup in Week 8.
