Brutal Stats for Aaron Glenn Go Viral as Fans Put Jets HC on Hot Seat After Loss to Dolphins

After losing to the previously winless Miami Dolphins on Sunday, New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn is on the wrong side of history.

Fans on social media couldn't help but call out Glenn's 0-8 record in AFC East games and his poor point differential in the final two minutes of the first half:

The Dolphins entered Sunday's game with a 0-5 record, but from the outset, it looked like it was the Jets who were searching for their first win. Miami jumped out to a 21-7 lead in the first half and held on for a 28-25 victory, dropping New York to 2-5 this year.

Since Glenn took over as head coach prior to the 2025 campaign, the Jets have gone 5-19. New York was known to be a rebuilding team that wouldn't take a quick fix, but its lack of progress in Glenn's second year at the helm is alarming.

After the game, Glenn accepted the blame for his team's poor performance, particularly on defense after he took over as the defensive play-caller this season.

"I'm highly disappointed in myself," Glenn told reporters. "First and foremost, defensively, we did not play well in the first half."

Still, Glenn expressed optimism that the Jets will be able to turn things around.

"I understand the fans' frustration -- I really do. I promise you, I do -- but the thing is, I do feel like, man, this program is going in the right direction," he said.

The Jets will try to get back on track when they host the Las Vegas Raiders (3-4) in Week 8.
