LeSean McCoy Injury: Updates on Bills Star's Hamstring and Return
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was limited in practice on Sept. 17 due to soreness in his hamstring, but Buffalo Bills PR announced that he will be active against the New England Patriots in Week 2.
Joe Buscaglia of WKBW noted at the time that McCoy's absence from practice was not a planned day off. Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports noted that the injury didn't sound like a serious setback, although he said it "bears watching."
Regardless, he will suit up for Sunday's important matchup.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
If McCoy had been forced to miss time, you would have been hard-pressed to find a more significant offensive injury for the Bills.
He notched 1,319 rushing yards last year after posting 2,146 total yards and 11 touchdowns in 2013 for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is a dangerous playmaker with the ball in his hands because of his overall speed and ability to make defenders miss in the open field.
Coming into the season, McCoy was expected to be the go-to option for the Bills offense.
Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News suggested that would be the case back in August: "In Buffalo, [the approach] will likely be more player-centric. And moving the ball starts, first, with the 27-year-old running back McCoy. Even if this is an age where so many backs begin to fade."
If the plan is to preserve McCoy a bit early this season, youngster Karlos Williams could get more involved in the rushing attack as a potentially explosive option who can turn small openings into big plays.
It also wouldn't be a surprise if the Bills involved Percy Harvin and Sammy Watkins on shorter passing routes and screens as a way to get the ball to their dynamic receivers.
