Jim Harbaugh Involved In Wild Stat As Chargers Start 0-6 for 1st Time Since 2000 NFL Season

The Los Angeles Chargers fell to 0-6 for the first time since 2000, but for head coach Jim Harbaugh, it's a familiar feeling.

That's because Harbaugh was one of three quarterbacks to start for the Chargers during the 2000 campaign, in which the team went 0-11 before finishing with a 1-15 record.

Harbaugh played in seven games for the Chargers and produced 1,416 yards, eight touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His final career game came in a Week 11 relief appearance for Ryan Leaf.

The 2026 Chargers haven't fared any better, suffering their most disappointing loss of the year in Sunday's 22-6 laugher against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Harbaugh will try to get the Chargers back on track during their bye week before they return to face the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 1.
