Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings for Top Players and Matchups for All Positions

Kristopher KnoxOct 20, 2026

Week 6 brought another round of NFL surprises and, unfortunately, key injuries. Many of the top fantasy stars delivered as expected, but we saw some unexpected stars, too.

Big days from players like Omar Cooper Jr., Jaylin Noel, Tre Tucker, and Chad Ryland helped some managers push through otherwise difficult matchups.

Predicting who the top performers in any given week will be is always tricky. However, we're here to make some early guesses based on recent results, projected roles, and individual matchups.

All rankings and analysis are based on point-per-reception (PPR) scoring. As a reminder, the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders will be on bye in Week 7.

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford

Rankings

  1. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
  2. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
  3. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
  4. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
  5. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
  6. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
  7. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
  8. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
  9. Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints
  10. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Matchup to Love: Matthew Stafford at Las Vegas Raiders

At 2-4, the Los Angeles Rams have reached desperation mode. Their game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7 has become a must-win, and the Rams are likely to trust Matthew Stafford to deliver the victory.

Stafford has been very up-and-down this season, and he may not have star wideout Davante Adams, who suffered a leg injury on Sunday. However, Stafford is still the heart of L.A.'s offense and has delivered more often than not.

Even in a down game last week, Stafford yielded 16.9 fantasy points. This week, he'll face a defense that has surrendered an average of 25.4 fantasy points to opposing QBs.

Week 7 Stat Prediction: 319 passing yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT

Rankings

  1. Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
  2. Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons

  4. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
  5. Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
  6. Javonte Williams, Dallas Cowboys
  7. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
  8. Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
  9. D'Andre Swift, Chicago Bears
  10. Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers
  11. Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers
  12. Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
  13. Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
  14. Braelon Allen, New York Jets
  15. Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots

Matchup to Love: Jaylen Warren at New Orleans Saints

Rico Dowdle returned to the lineup for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6, and he cut into Jaylen Warren's workload fairly significantly. He could steal even more carries moving forward, as he was the more efficient of the two runners against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7 carries for 40 yards versus 14 carries for 50).

However, Warren remains heavily involved in Pittsburgh's passing attack, which gives him a solid PPR floor, even with Dowdle in the mix. Both backs deserve consideration this week when the Steelers travel to take on the New Orleans Saints.

New Orleans' run defense has been extremely vulnerable this season. Through Week 6, it has surrendered an average of 33.3 fantasy points to opposing backfields.

Week 7 Stat Prediction: 54 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 39 receiving yards, 1 TD

Wide Receiver

Saints Giants Football
Malik Nabers

Rankings

  1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
  2. Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
  3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
  4. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
  5. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
  6. Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
  7. Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
  8. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
  9. Malik Nabers, New York Giants
  10. Nico Collins, Houston Texans
  11. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
  12. Mike Evans, San Francisco 49ers
  13. George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
  14. Matthew Golden, Green Bay Packers
  15. Garrett Wilson, New York Jets
  16. Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
  17. Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers
  18. DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
  19. Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers
  20. DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers

Matchup to Love: Malik Nabers at Houston Texans

The New York Giants are facing a quarterback quandary after benching Jameis Winston for J.J. McCarthy during Sunday's loss to the Saints. Regardless of who gets the start in Week 7, however, managers should trust wideout Malik Nabers.

Nabers played with both quarterbacks against New Orleans and finished with 28.5 fantasy points. He'll remain the focal point of New York's passing attack against the Houston Texans in Week 7.

Houston has started to right the proverbial ship with back-to-back wins, but its defense remains a massive liability. A unit that was one of the league's best a year ago is currently surrendering an average of 40.3 fantasy points to opposing receiver groups.

Week 7 Stat Prediction: 11 receptions, 120 yards, 1 TD

Tight End

4 of 4
Cowboys Packers Football
Tucker Kraft

Rankings

  1. Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders
  2. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
  3. Isaiah Likely, New York Giants
  4. Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
  5. Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
  6. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions
  7. Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
  8. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
  9. Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
  10. Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons

Matchup to Love: Tucker Kraft at Detroit Lions

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft hasn't been the offensive focal point that many expected him to be in 2026, due largely to the emergence of second-year receiver Matthew Golden. However, he's still one of Jordan Love's favorite targets and a terrific PPR option.

Kraft delivered a modest 8.7 fantasy points in Week 5, but he reached double digits each of his two previous games. He should be back to double-digit territory this week in a matchup with a bad Detroit Lions defense.

Detroit has been particularly susceptible to tight ends and has allowed more fantasy points to the position than any other team.

Week 7 Stat Prediction: 6 receptions, 64 yards, 1 TD
