Daniel Jones' Job Security Addressed by Colts' Shane Steichen After Shocking Loss to Titans

Despite falling to 2-4 after Sunday's 26-20 loss to the previously winless Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen isn't giving up on starting quarterback Daniel Jones.

When asked after Sunday's loss about Jones' status as the team's starter, Steichen made it clear that he isn't planning on making any drastic changes.

"Yes, he is our starting quarterback," Steichen affirmed.

Jones was 22-of-42 for 269 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's game. He was sacked six times by a Titans team that had only 10 sacks through the first five weeks of the season.

Steichen said that Jones isn't the sole person to blame for the Colts' struggles this year.

"I think he knows he's gotta play better. I've gotta coach better," he said. "There's a lot of things, it's not on one guy. We've gotta do a lot of things better."

The Colts will try to address their deficiencies before they return to action in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings (5-0).
