Ruth Werning, a 104-year-old Milwaukee Brewers fan, has the perfect gift in mind for her birthday next month.
Speaking to Denise Craig of WISN 12 in Milwaukee, Werning would love to see her beloved Brewers give her a World Series title.
"Oh my, would it ever," Werning said when asked whether a championship would be a big gift. "I'm able to get around. Put me on a bus, put me on an airplane. Oh, I think I'd have something to look forward to."

The Brewers clinched a berth in the World Series by sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS.
Werning will celebrate her 105th birthday in November, so it would be a little bit of an early present since Game 7 of the Fall Classic is scheduled to be played on Oct. 31.
Brewers fans might know Werning from her 2024 appearance at American Family Field when she threw out the ceremonial first pitch during a regular-season game against the Dodgers.
Milwaukee won that game 6-4, so the club might want to see if Werning can attend a World Series game as a good-luck charm.
Born in 1921, Werning is 48 years older than the Brewers franchise. They played their first MLB season in 1969 and this will be just their second World Series appearance after losing to the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games in 1982.
