Brewers Honor Former Players With NLCS Champagne Bottles in New Photos from World Series Celebration
After clinching a berth in the World Series for the first time in 44 years on Thursday night, the Milwaukee Brewers used their postgame celebration to honor players from the franchise's past.
Photos from inside the Brewers' locker room showed they had champagne bottles with labels featuring player names and the years they made the postseason with the club.

Some of the names featured include Baseball Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers, Rowdy Tellez, Jeff Suppan, Curtis Granderson and Jace Peterson.
The Brewers also had champagne bottles with the names of various towns in Wisconsin, similar to the flag the team has carried around throughout this playoff run.
One year after being swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS, the Brewers returned the favor. They capped off their four-game sweep with a 6-4 victory in Dodger Stadium to reach the World Series for the first time since 1982.
The Brewers will host Game 1 of the World Series on Oct. 23. They await the winner of the ALCS between the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays.
