The 4-1 Buffalo Bills wrap up the first segment of their 2026 schedule when they face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday in Nevada.ย
After that, they'll enjoy a bye week before embarking on the middle portion of the schedule with a potentially crucial home game against the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 1.ย
Let's look at those matchups as well as the rest of the remaining slate to identify where Buffalo might stumble and make some predictions for how things will play out for Josh Allen and Co. between now and January.

Week 6: Bills at Raiders
The Bills have to be careful here. This is a potential trap for a team that remains on the road on short rest following an energy-sapping overtime win over the Rams in Los Angeles. That said, the Raiders' defense was exposed by New England and I think these teams are moving in very different directions. I'm expecting Buffalo to pull through.
Bills 27, Raiders 20 (Buffalo moves to 5-1)
Week 7: Bye Weekย

Week 8: Bills vs. Ravensย
This won't be easy, especially if Lamar Jackson is 100 percent at this point. That said, the Bills will have had two weeks to prepare for a home game against a clearly flawed rival whose number they've had in recent years. This is the right place and right time for Buffalo.ย
Bills 30, Ravens 24 (Buffalo moves to 6-1)
Week 9: Bills at Vikings
The Bills tend to lay an egg a couple of times per season. This spot makes a lot of sense as they go on the road to play a balanced, well-coached team with offensive weapons that are likely to present major challenges to Buffalo's problematic second and third levels.ย
Vikings 28, Bills 24 (Buffalo falls to 6-2)
Week 10: Bills at Jetsย
The Bills are too talented, experienced and mentally tough to drop both games on this mini road trip. They've outscored the Jets 105-32 in their last three meetings and have won five straight matchups with Gang Green. This shouldn't be close, but it's still a divisional road game, so Buffalo needs to stay focused.ย
Bills 35, Jets 17 (Buffalo moves to 7-2)
Week 11: Bills vs. Dolphinsย
Miami beat the Bills last November, but this is a very different Dolphins team. Thus far, it hasn't looked like one that is NFL-caliber, especially away from home. This is a tough spot for a Miami team that has managed just three touchdowns in three road games this year and will be coming off another away contest in Indianapolis.
Bills 34, Dolphins 13 (Buffalo moves to 8-2)
Week 12: Bills vs. Chiefs
Obviously, this is somewhat of a toss-up considering their history and the fact that both teams are prime contenders. But the Bills are lucky to get the juggernaut Chiefs at home, with Kansas City traveling on short rest for a Thanksgiving Thursday nighter. I expect this to be a memorable Bills victory at the new Highmark Stadium.ย
Bills 30, Chiefs 28 (Buffalo moves to 9-2)

Week 13: Bills at Patriots
The Patriots have a later bye and could be fresher for this home game, but the Bills also benefit from extra rest following the Thursday matchup with Kansas City while the Pats are flying back from Los Angeles. Ultimately, I think the Bills find a way to split the season series and beat the Pats in December for a seventh consecutive year (with five of those coming in Foxborough).ย
Bills 27, Patriots 24 (Buffalo moves to 10-2)
Week 14: Bills at Packers
I had them splitting a mini road trip to Minnesota and New York in November, and this mini trip through New England and Green Bay makes sense as another 1-1 split. This is a tough prime-time spot at Lambeau after a potentially taxing win at Gillette Stadium. But if they lose to the Patriots, I can see them rallying for the W in this situation. Regardless, it leaves them with a 10-3 record entering the holiday home stretch.ย
Packers 28, Bills 24 (Buffalo falls to 10-3)
Week 15: Bills vs. Bears
This is the back half of a two-game road swing for the Bears, who may lack what it takes to slow down the Buffalo offense in prime time at Highmark on short rest.ย
Bills 30, Bears 20 (Buffalo moves to 11-3)
Week 16: Bills at Broncosย
This is definitely a winnable game for the Bills, but few would fault them for falling in this road spot on short rest against a very talented and potentially desperate opponent.ย
Broncos 24, Bills 21 (Buffalo falls to 11-4)
January

Week 17: Bills at Dolphins
This might be one to be wary of. The Dolphins could have a lot more figured out by this point; it's their second home game in a row, and they did crush the Bills 30-13 at this site last November. If Buffalo does come up short in Denver, it will get its act together here. If the Bills beat the Broncos, this might be a trap. Regardless, I've got them pegged for 12 wins entering the final week of the season.ย
Bills 30, Dolphins 27 (Buffalo moves to 12-4)
Week 18: Bills vs. Jets
This is likely only a defeat if it doesn't matter, which is unlikely considering that I've given them four losses. That should keep them within striking distance of the AFC's top seed while keeping New England close enough in the rear-view mirror to force Buffalo to take care of business at home against a team that they've dominated in recent seasons.ย
Bills 27, Jets 17 (Buffalo finishes 13-4)
I'm projecting nine more wins over Buffalo's final 12 games, resulting in a 13-4 finish.
