Latest NFL Odds and Picks Factoring in New Weather Forecasts for Week 6 Schedule
We're nearly halfway through October and the top contenders are separating themselves.
The San Francisco 49ers are now the co-favorites to win the Super Bowl after their 5-0 start, per Fanduel, although the Los Angeles Rams are rated just as highly at +700 to win it all.
The Buffalo Bills currently ranked third at +750.
Weather is also about to become a factor in many NFL games with Halloween right around the corner. We haven't seen much more than rainfall impact the early schedule, but as temperatures drop and fall winds swirl, that will change.
Of course, it's not as if the 2026 season needs an added jolt of unpredictability. We've already seen some strange occurrences—like the Washington Commanders forgetting to kick a field goal before overtime expired—and unexpected results.
The Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders both have a better record than the Los Angeles Rams.
Here, we'll take an early look at the Week 6 slate, the latest odds, and the most accurate forecast information from The Weather Channel and make a few predictions.

Week 6 Preview
2 of 2.jpg?w=2560)
The Week 6 schedule will kick off with an intriguing matchup between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks, two teams that were among the NFL's final four last season.
Seattle has looked every bit like the defending Super Bowl champs for most of the season, but mistakes have cost them in games against the Washington Commanders and San Francisco 49ers. The Broncos, meanwhile, haven't looked as formidable as they did last season. The Denver offense has been especially disjointed, though its defense finally had a strong showing in Week 5.
Several other marquee matchups will highlight the week, including an early afternoon battle between the Chicago Bears and the Atlanta Falcons. Both teams lost in Week 5, and the Bears got blown out by the rival Green Bay Packers. Both will be looking to rebound in a big way.
The Chicago Bears may also have star quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) back in the lineup after he came close to returning on Sunday.
There's a chance that the Baltimore Ravens will also have their starting quarterback in Week 6 for a surprisingly important game against the Cleveland Browns.
Lamar Jackson missed Week 5 with an ankle injury, but the Ravens were able to mount a comeback against the Falcons with Tyler Huntley at quarterback. That gave Baltimore a one-game lead in the AFC North, but a loss to Cleveland would put the Browns back in the top spot.
Ravens coach Jesse Minter told reporters on Monday that Jackson is "definitely doing better."
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will be back in action after spending Week 5 on bye. They'll face a Los Angeles Chargers team that is banged-up and still searching for its first win. It might feel like an easy game for Kansas City, but divisional matchups are usually anything but.
Sunday's nightcap will pit the Dallas Cowboys against the Packers in a clash of playoff hopefuls that have stumbled through the early season. Green Bay's offense finally found a rhythm in Week 5, though, while Dallas' defense continues to stink.
The San Francisco 49ers will close out the week against a Commanders team that appears to be on the verge of imploding. While it's a mismatch on paper, San Francisco's injuries—along with Washington's desperation—could lead to a closer outcome than most expect.
