Roman Wilson Injured, Latest Rumors on Steelers WR's Timeline to Return from Finger Injury

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson is likely to miss multiple weeks due to a finger injury from Sunday's 34-22 win over the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Fowler reported he's seeking a second opinion.

Wilson was on the field for just 20 offensive snaps and got targeted once in the victory.

The third-year pass-catcher has already surpassed his production from 2025. He has 14 receptions for 188 yards and two touchdowns. His yards per game have almost tripled, going from 12.8 to 37.6.

This is another stroke of bad luck for Wilson. He was limited to one game as a rookie because of ankle and hamstring injuries. Toward the end of last year, he became a healthy scratch.

Wilson seemed to benefit from the offseason coaching change, but now his momentum will come to a halt.

The Steelers can ill afford to lose another receiver, either. Ben Skowronek (calf) also exited Sunday's game, and Michael Pittman Jr. is assured of missing at least the next three weeks after going on injured reserve.

Second-round pick Germie Bernard will need to step up in a big way to help ease the pressure on D.K. Metcalf.
