ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Saturday that the Cardinals were finalizing a deal to trade the former No. 4 overall pick, but it was unclear where he was being traded to.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz noted that both teams involved in the deal did not want to announce it until after their Week 5 games. The Texans handled business against the Tennessee Titans during the early slate, but the Cardinals had not concluded their matchup against the Detroit Lions before news broke of the trade.

Schefter reported on Saturday that the Texans were a team to watch, while KPRC2's Aaron Wilson pointed to the Las Vegas Raiders as a possible landing spot.

The Texans turned out to be the mystery team.

The trade comes amid a rough third season for Harrison, who has logged just five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown. The former Ohio State start hasn't had the start to his career that he hoped for, but a change of scenery could be exactly what he needs.

The deal reunites him with quarterback C.J. Stroud, with whom he played alongside for two years with the Buckeyes. That duo was electric in Columbus, and they'll look to pick up where they left off in Houston.

It is surely a tough pill to swallow for the Cardinals to give up on Harrison after using a top-five pick on him just two years ago, but it made sense to get something in return for him while they still can. Arizona is immersed in a rebuild, and the extra picks will help.

Plus, Michael Wilson has been the team's top receiver this year, coming into Sunday with 258 yards and a touchdown. Trading Harrison won't change much since he wasn't a huge part of the offense early on this season.
