Drake Maye powered the New England Patriots to a 45-17 blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, throwing five touchdown passes and opening the door for No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza to take his first NFL snaps for the Raiders.

The Patriots, sitting at .500, entered the matchup as 5.5-point favorites over the Raiders, per FanDuel Sportsbook. Despite New England's early-season struggles and Las Vegas' hot start, the home crowd at Gillette Stadium was expected to bring some heat.

Maye felt the love in New England after an impressive performance powered the Patriots to their third win of the season, handing the Raiders their second straight loss and dropping them to 3-2. New England improved to 3-2 behind a whopping 536 yards of total offense.
