Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season could be a soggy one as parts of the country experience the effects of Hurricane Isaias.

Isaias made landfall Friday as a Category 2 hurricane. While it has been downgraded, the accompanying storms could linger throughout the weekend.

Look no further than the daily forecasts for Sunday's outdoor NFL action, courtesy of The Weather Channel:

  • Cincinnati Bengals at Miami Dolphins: High of 89, 22 percent chance of rain
  • Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers: High of 80, three percent chance of rain
  • Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans: High of 74, 43 percent chance of rain
  • Las Vegas Raiders at New England Patriots: High of 63, 56 percent chance of rain
  • Cleveland Browns at New York Jets: High of 62, 100 percent chance of rain
  • Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers: High of 65, 88 percent chance of rain
  • New York Giants at Washington Commanders: High of 68, 100 percent chance of rain
  • San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks: High of 61, 18 percent chance of rain

The Pittsburgh Steelers' matchup with the Indianapolis Colts will be one to follow in terms of how the field conditions impact the contest.

The Weather Channel is calling for the rain to begin as early as 3 or 4 a.m. ET and continue through the afternoon. Even if the showers stop by the 1 p.m. kickoff, the playing surface at Acrisure Stadium has long been a trouble spot. The Steelers and Colts could be in for a slog.

The same is true for the Washington Commanders and New York Giants. The rain in Landover, Maryland, might start as early as Saturday night, and it won't let up until well into Sunday.

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is making his return from a dislocated left elbow. He might've picked the wrong week to come back.
