Lamar Jackson, Ja'Marr Chase, NFL Injury Statuses and Fantasy Impact for Week 5
The Baltimore Ravens will be without their quarterback for one of Week 5's highest-profile games.
Lamar Jackson will miss Sunday's clash with the Atlanta Falcons due to an ankle injury he suffered in Week 4.
The injury news is a bit more optimistic elsewhere in the AFC North. Ja'Marr Chase is listed as questionable for the Cincinnati Bengals' matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

Lamar Jackson Ruled Out With Ankle Injury
Lamar Jackson is unable to go against the Falcons on Sunday night due to his ankle injury.
The news is concerning for the Ravens, their fans and fantasy football players with Jackson on their roster because his absence significantly alters the matchup.
Tyler Huntley is no stranger to starting games in place of Jackson. He went 8-for-9 for 63 yards last week, but the Ravens didn't score a second half point against the Tennessee Titans with Huntley on the field.
Huntley threw for 186 and 107 yards in his two starts last season. He led the Ravens to wins in both of those games, but the stat lines weren't overly impressive from a fantasy perspective.
It's difficult to justify Huntley as the first option off the waiver wire in place of Jackson because of those numbers and the state of the Ravens offense.
Zay Flowers is listed as questionable and Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews were both on the injury report this week. Bateman and Andrews were full participants in practice on Thursday and Friday.
A heavy reliance on Derrick Henry would be expected without Jackson, but Atlanta has given up the fewest rushing yards in the NFL through four weeks.
The waiver wire has a handful of non-Ravens who are better options to replace Jackson.
Arizona's Jacoby Brissett faces Detroit's league-worst passing defense. Aaron Rodgers might not be the first option, but the Pittsburgh Steelers are facing a brutal Indianapolis Colts secondary that struggled at points against Athan Kaliakmanis in London last week.
Jameis Winston is worth a look as well since he and the New York Giants go up against a Washington Commanders defense that's tied with Detroit and Arizona for the touchdowns conceded through the air.
Ja'Marr Chase Questionable For Bengals' Trip to Miami
Ja'Marr Chase and the Bengals have one of the better matchups on paper in Week 5 against the Dolphins.
Miami gave up 24 or more points in its first three games and gave up over 330 total yards in three of its last four.
Chase left Week 4's game with the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a concussion. There was real concern about his Week 5 status, but he was a full participant in Friday's practice.
Tee Higgins is also listed as questionable, but like Chase, he was a full participant in practice on Friday.
A fully-functional Bengals offense has the potential to do a ton of damage against the Dolphins defense.
Chase, Higgins, Joe Burrow and Co. put up at least 350 total yards in three of their first four games. Another high yardage total is expected against a Miami defense with its bad yardage concession numbers.
If, for some reason, Chase can't go, Dohnte Meyers and Mike Gesicki would be popular waiver-wire additions at wide receiver, tight end and the FLEX spots because of upgraded roles inside the Bengals offense.
However, it looks like Chase is on track to play, and with that, will likely come a sizable fantasy point total.
