Cowboys' Dak Prescott Addresses Viral Video of Person Yelling 'Embarrassing' After Loss to Bucs
The criticisms of the Dallas Cowboys are now coming from inside the house following their 24-16 loss on Thursday night to the previously-winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As Dak Prescott was talking back to the locker room at AT&T Stadium, someone in the tunnel area was heard yelling "embarrassing."

Prescott told reporters after the game the person "looked away" when he turned back to see who it was:
"When he said it, I just happened to look at him, and at that point, he looked away. And when I turned my head back, he said something else. And so that's the part that, just as a man or as just a person, feel free to speak your mind โ just speak it. Don't cower away from the reaction that you're going to get. And so, if you're saying it's embarrassing, say it's embarrassing. If you're saying it to me, then say it to me. Don't go back on it. So that's all that was, and hate that it's even being talked about, to be honest with you."
Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said the situation was "motivating" for the team because "we believe in what we're doing" and they will work to get back on track.
According to ESPN's Todd Archer, the person who made the comment was a third-party contractorย who was standing outside of the players' exit from the stadium field.
Prescott did not want to use the term "embarrassing" to describe this performance, but he explained it was a game that was set up for the Cowboys to win.
Entering Thursday night, Dallas appeared in good position to snag a victory and move over the .500 mark for the first time all season. The Bucs entered the day with an 0-4 record, had to travel to AT&T Stadium on a short week and were starting an undrafted rookie at quarterback.
Instead, the Cowboys defense once again couldn't get stops. Christian Parker's unit gave up 419 total yards, including 241 on the ground. It was the third-most rushing yards by a team in a game this season.
The Bucs did not commit a turnover for the first time all season. They had nine turnovers in the first four weeks, third-most in the NFL.
Dallas' offense wasn't effective in part because it was one-dimensional. The Cowboys had 50 rushing yards on 13 attempts. Prescott was picked off twice, though both turnovers bounced off the hands of his intended receivers.
Coming off a dramatic win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, the Cowboys seemed poised to go on a run with a favorable schedule that included the Bucs, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals.
Instead, the Cowboys dropped to 2-3 with many of the same issues that plagued them last season. Joey Porter Jr., who didn't play due to illness, will help solve some of those problems when he does take the field.
But an outside cornerback isn't likely to help a leaky run defense that was supposed to be improved after adding Quinnen Williams, Rashan Gary, Von Miller and Malachi Lawrence to their front four in the past 12 months.
